Job Description
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible
for completing Kitchen Exhaust System Projects to DCS Standards
·
Complete
all required trainings and certifications
·
Proper
use of PPE – Wear PPE at all times required.
·
Be
familiar with and follow kitchen exhaust/ Hood Vent cleaning techniques in
accordance with the MFS trade school.
·
Use,
transport, and store all company equipment in accordance with standard
operating procedures (SOP). Maintenance of equipment as needed.
·
Provide
and conduct inventory of supplies and materials, track, and order materials for
assigned projects.
·
Complete
client JSR (Job service Report)
·
Follow
all OSHA and MFS best practices in the Proper use and storage of chemicals and equipment.
·
Ensure
proper placement of protective barriers for no mess cleaning in accordance with
DFS processes.
·
Become
familiar with and implement all DFS processes and procedures.
·
Train
and observe new staff as needed.
·
Troubleshoot
and solve problems in the field as needed.
·
Responsible
for proper disassembly and reassembly of Kitchen Exhaust System
·
Perform
Pre-scraping, pre-soaking grease and Pressure washing operations.
·
Promptly
correct any client complaints in accordance with Daigle Customer Service SOP
and address any issues noted by management.
·
Learn
and perform floor care and commercial cleaning tasks as necessary.
·
Ensure
proper time keeping by clock in and out properly.
·
Be
available for more hours by filling in for absent employees, occasionally working
an extended shift.
·
Notify
supervisor of any issues experienced, be an outstanding communicator.
·
Trained
in all the above by ownership.
·
Follow
directives given by DOO and ownership.
·
Have and maintain
a valid NYS Driver's License in order to drive company vehicles.
·
Additional
tasks as assigned based upon the needs of the business.
·

Responsible
for reporting disciplinary issues of cleaning technicians to Manager/HR
Responsible
for account inspections
Must
update account inspection notes promptly.
Fill
in for absent employees.
Organize
labor in the field, move team members around as necessary when absences occur.
Performance
reviews for cleaning techs
Actively
recruit and/or interview candidates
Learn
and perform floor cleaning tasks, as necessary.
Communicate
clearly with cleaning techs regarding any changes in company policies,
processes, etc.
Discuss
the plan of attack on new accounts with sales and ownership
Actively
promote Health and Safety, and report any breach directly to the Manager.
Ensure
that all staff wear all appropriate PPE
Must participate in and
make positive contributions to all leadership meetings.
Ensure all checklists
and sign-off sheets are completed properly.
Look for upsell
opportunities in the field.
QUALIFICATIONSEducation:
•
Required: High School graduate
or G.E.D.
•
Preferred: College Degree BA or BS
Experience:•
Preferred 1 year of Hood Vent cleaning, fire restoration experience or other applicable experience
•
Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in a supervisory role.

Working conditions:

A fast-paced environment requiring flexibility, adaptability and resilience in a wide variety of work situations.

Customer service
may include interacting with challenging clients

General Kitchen environment, with low to medium noise,
low to medium heat and cold

May be exposed to high dust, heat, noise levels, wet and slippery
conditions when visiting
field job sites and/or client locations.

Occasional emergency calls after hours,
holidays and on weekends.
