SalaryMaple Leaf Coffee House (www.mapleleafcafe.com) is a full service cafe (food, specialty coffee) in Saint Charles. We run a two person kitchen and do our best to keep our space clean, well maintained and serve top notch food.
We are looking to hire one extra person for our Kitchen Staff. Pay is negotiable based upon experience. We are looking to add staff a few days during the week and may have more hours available depending on your schedule and the summer business. Depending on our event schedule, additional hours for catering may be available.
Please let us know about your relevant restaurant/food service experience, whether you have a food handlers certificate and any restrictions on your schedule.

Example duties include:
- Prepare and serve a variety of food
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with FOH staff in a friendly manner
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Bonus points:
- Open availability is awesome (we're open 8am to 3pm every day with one shift starting at 730am and another at 10am)
- Food service experience
- A food manager certificate
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
