Employee benefits are not available for employees working less than 20 hours a week. Vacation: no vacation accrual
A comprehensive package of benefits (pro-rated based on hours worked per week): A medical plan, dental, vision, basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our diocesan 403(b) plan. Employees will also receive sick leave, vacation time based on years of service as well as paid holidays. Additional voluntary benefits are available for enrollment: voluntary life, accidental death and disability, and long term care.
403(B) Eligibility: Employees are eligible to participate in this employer paid tax favored retirement plan if they are age 21, and have worked for the Diocese of Yakima for 12 consecutive months, and worked 1000 hours in each 12-month period.
St. Joseph School in Wenatchee is seeking a K-3rd Grade Spanish Teacher. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated educator who is excited at the prospect of working as an integral member of the middle school development team. This will require capacity for flexibility and creative thinking.
Preferred candidates will have K-5th grade level teacher certification and teaching experience, though all interested parties are invited to apply. Preferred candidates will be fluent/skilled in reading, writing, listening, and speaking in both Spanish and English.The school is looking for teachers who utilize current, effective, research-proven strategies to plan, teach, monitor progress and report performance, who use data to drive instructional decisions to increase academic outcomes in all students, and who employ culturally sensitive, responsive, and sustaining practices.
