Jv Baseball/Varsity Assistant Coach - Creswell High School

Creswell School District is seeking highly skilled candidates for a JV Baseball Coach position to join the outstanding coaching staff at Creswell High School.
Position open until filled. Applicant screening begins immediately.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• NFHS Coaches Certification
• High school graduate
• Previous successful coaching experience, preferred
• Skills in working positively with adolescents
• Understanding of successful teaching strategies
• Good communication skills
• Successful completion of fingerprint screening
• First Aid CPR training

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach fundamentals of Baseball
• Plan and supervise practices and games
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school personnel
• Be a role model for student-athletes

GENERAL AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Assume a supervisory and teaching role with athletes
• Design practices to build skills and strategies
• Cooperate with CHS faculty and staff
• Assist with High School baseball program

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED

• High school teaching experience
• High school varsity Baseball experience
• High School baseball coaching experience

Coaching Stipends paid at the end of the season. Actual dollar amount varies based on experience and step placement in accordance with the certified bargaining agreement, Extra Duty Salaries.
