A manufacturing company known for its smart technologies is currently seeking an Accounting Associate to work at their Torrance office and assist them in with full-cycle Accounting duties
- Direct-Hire with great benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short-term / Long-term Disability, 401K with matching, Vacation, Sick Leave, Paid Holiday, and more)
- Junior-Level: $30-$32/hour
Associate-Level: $70K-$75K / year
Requirements of the Accounting Associate:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting is required
- 1-3 years of hands-on Accounting Experience in A/P and A/R
- Experience operating on an ERP software is preferred
- Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, Microsoft AX, and/or Concur software experience is a huge plus
- Well-versed in Microsoft suites, especially Excel
- Detail-oriented, organized, honest, and reliable
- Strong written and verbal communication skill
Responsibilities of the Accounting Associate:
- Accounts Payables
- Maintain and update vendor database
- Obtain approval for invoices received and enter or integrate into system via Concur
- Prepare payments: Checks, ACH, wires, and online payments
- Identify discrepancies and resolve billing issues
- Accounts Receivables
- Prepare, verify, and code customer remittance
- Billing invoiceHandle customer requests, changes, and credits
- Update and maintain pricings in ERP
- Others
- Improve monthly close process efficiency and speed
- General ledger accounting
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly and quarterly sales tax reporting
- Prepare audit and tax reports and support as requested by the company’s external accounting firms
- Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues
- Prepare and analyze monthly financials
- Manage month-end and year-end closing
- Establish accounting policies and procedures
- Any additional related duties will also be assigned

Schedule: Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (flexible for 1 hour earlier start)
