GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY
The Junior Project Manager is responsible for assisting with and managing consulting projects that establish uniform healthcare rates for state agencies. This Junior Project Manager position provides the services below to Rehurricane Enterprises client(s).
This job is a consultative Junior Project management role. It requires finesse in managing the timelines, building solid internal relationships, and having an attitude of helpfulness and curiosity. It requires flexibility, agility, and comfort working with constantly changing requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
● Assist the Consulting Manager with the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects
● Collaborate with stakeholders to gain a full understanding of the project objective and scope
● Create components of project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation plans.
● Help manage client stakeholder facilitation and documentation
● Conduct aspects of market research, including state Medicaid regulations, policies, and guidelines
● Coordinate with finance and data analysis teams to access and analyze relevant program data and financial projections
● Understand impacts of scope changes and adjust project plans and communicate accordingly
● Schedule project meetings as needed, ensuring the appropriate attendees, setting agendas and taking meeting minutes.
● Undertake regular work streams and project meetings, documenting and following up on actions and risks identified from the meetings.
● Identify opportunities to maximize client satisfaction
● Deliver insights and results to internal and external stakeholders in easily digestible manner in both written format and through interactions with team/clients
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Required:
● Ability to provide documents verifying authorization to work in the U.S.
● Must pass Criminal Background Checks and Drug Testing
● Bachelor's degree or higher required
● 2 year of experience in project management
● High Proficiency using Smartsheet and MS Office Suite (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
● Exceptional Excel skills required
● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to share and synthesize knowledge and create documentation
● Confidence and motivation to gather necessary project information
● Demonstrated effectiveness in balancing building relationships and communicating with team members in a way that doesn’t alienate or annoy, while moving towards getting tasks accomplished.
● Demonstrated effectiveness applying project management practices across all phases of projects from inception through completion
● Basic understanding of the requirements, environmental factors, organizations, activities, constraints, risks, and motivations impacting government clients
● Flexible; ability to work within different time zones
● Experience working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing expectations and requirements
● Ability to work in a high expectation environment
Preferred:
● State/federal government consulting experience
● Formal Project Management training
● Understanding of Medicaid and government health care programs is a plus
● Experience with Microsoft Power BI visualization tools is a plus
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
● This position has no supervisory responsibility.
JOB CONDITIONS
● This position works fully remotely from a dedicated home office that should be set up ergonomically for an efficient work environment.
● Frequent meetings with required attendance

Pay: $58,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
