The Role:

\n

My client, a leading organisation in the Nuclear industry, is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will primarily support a nuclear defence-related project, focusing on project reporting, client communication, and ensuring project deliverables are met within budget and schedule constraints. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Project Manager and collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Project reporting and progress tracking

\n

• Liaison with clients and internal teams

\n

• Managing project finances and subcontractors

\n

• Ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, health & safety standards

\n

• Leading and motivating project teams

\n

• Cultivating customer expectations through excellent delivery

\n

\n

Essential Requirements:

\n

\n
• 2-4 years of demonstrable project management experience in the nuclear or similarly regulated industry

\n

• Strong customer-facing skills

\n

• Experience with NEC3/4 contracting

\n

• Commercial acumen and negotiation skills

\n

• Track record of achieving project objectives

\n

• Leadership and team management experience

\n

• Willingness to travel and hold a current driving license

\n

• Ability to obtain SC clearance, UK status, and no dual citizenship

\n

\n

Desirable Requirements:

\n

\n
• Project management qualification (e.g., PMI, APMP)

\n

• Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely)

\n

• Experience with CEMAR

\n

• Electrical engineering background

\n
