Junior Graphic Designer
POSITION:
Reporting to the Arts Pastor, this position will be cross-trained in various areas to understand and participate in the entire team's mission to "Craft content and experiences that lead people to become fully engaged followers of Jesus." The Jr. Graphic Designer is responsible for the creation and production of creative collateral to communicate and inspire the vision for Next Level Church and related brands.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conceptualize, design, and produce a wide range of specialized graphics and/or illustrations for all Next Level Church events, projects, and initiatives.
• Work as part of the Creative Arts team, assisting in reinforcing creative branding for Next Level Church.
• Create and produce high-quality digital and printed deliverables, taking branding for ministries and events and creating the assets needed.
• Create weekly slides for Weekend Services, including announcements and digital signage.
• Assist with creative collateral and advertisements for external marketing needs.
• Manage weekly schedule and work with the Art Director so that all graphic projects are completed with excellence by the assigned deadline.
• Frequent rendering for print materials, including working with the Integrations Director and vendors to ensure successful delivery of files and project completion goals.

SKILLS:

• Demonstrated proficiency at a beginner or intermediate level using Adobe Creative Suite programs: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Demonstrated proficiency in photography and Photo editing through Lightroom.
• Basic understanding of core design principles (typography, layout, etc.)
• Highly relational and task-oriented.
• Able to work on multiple tasks and bring them to completion.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle change in a positive manner.
• Able to handle confidential matters with integrity and discretion.
• Demonstrated project management, time management, and collaboration skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to function well in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English. Fluency in other languages are a plus.
• Willingness to assist on projects and tasks outside of the norm to benefit the team as a whole.
• Vision and passion for people and for God's work through Next Level Church.

TIME COMMITMENT:

• Working Hours - 20-25 Hours per week.
• Participate in weekly staff gatherings, monthly staff chapels, yearly staff retreats, and other all-staff gatherings throughout the year.
