Junior Drupal Developer

Job Description:

Dynamo Technologies is looking for a Junior Drupal Developer to support our US Federal Government clients. 

Job Duties/ Responsibilities 

• Develop Drupal 9.x  and 10.x websites

• Plan and implement information structure and features, functionality, user- interface design, and navigation for Drupal

• Export applicable content from current legacy Drupal website to new Drupal 9.x or newer CMS.

• Deploy Agency websites in a centralized, large-scale environment and within an architecture that easily facilitates the management of common theme(s), modules or other shared components for large scale and/or standalone websites.

• Create and execute content migration plans and coordinate the migration of content and site assets from legacy web sites and sites hosted at external partner domains as needed.

• Use Agency approved and specified repository to store source code, document code, release packages, and associated artifacts.

• Build a custom site leveraging USWDS components 

Required Skills/Abilities

• Experience developing web solutions in Drupal in a LAMP environment.

• Advanced site building experience including deep familiarity with Drupal custom modules 

• SOLR Implementation, data manipulation, SQL querying.

• Experience building responsive websites using Drupal 9+ including PHP (creating custom modules and using theme hooks), Twig templates, Sass (SCSS), JavaScript, YML, and UI components (e.g. USWDS).

• Proficiency with core web technologies of HTML5, JavaScript (ES2015) and CSS3.

• Knowledge of PHP, PHP files and theme functions, and knowledge of the Drupal theme layer.

• Can convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.

• Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (eg Requirements, Design, Development, Testing and exposure to Agile).

Education and Experience:

• 3+ years experience.

• Bachelor of Science in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Programming, or a related field.

Clearance Requirement:

• Ability to obtain a Public Trust.

Salary:

• 100k-115k annually (full time role with benefits)
