Junior Designer

We are seeking a Junior Designer to join our team at Duggal Visual Solutions in our Brooklyn Navy Yard office. As a Junior Designer, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects for our international clientele, which includes Fortune 500 companies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior designers and project managers to produce fully fleshed out 3D renderings and comprehensive presentations
• Work with the Innovation Lab Team on concept, design, production, and installation of projects
• Assist in detailing drawings and renderings under supervision
• Develop preliminary Design Assist on coordination of projects
• Help with verification of site details to support design
• Assist with field surveying of client spaces and provide documentation support

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or design, or equivalent experience
• Strong skills in 3D modeling and rendering programs such as SketchUp, LightWave, 3DS Max, Vectorworks, Solidworks, Rhinoceros, and Cinema 4D
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with color, materials, and aesthetic form
• Dedication, passion, and hands-on approach

Additional Information:

• Full-time position
• Prior experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, Cinema 4D, and SketchUp is preferred
• Starting salary: $65,000
