Sayres is seeking an experienced Junior Acquisition Management Analyst with a current SECRET clearance, verifiable in DISS in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with DoD and Navy policies that relate to defense acquisition and be able to employ the latest guidance to execute tasking in accordance with these policies.
- Assist in development, maintenance, and preparation of briefings.
- Attend meetings and prepare minutes; and research and prepare responses to action items. To include:
- Quarterly Program and/or Progress Reviews (QPRs)
- Milestone Reviews, Gate Reviews, or Resources and Requirements Review Board (R3B).
- Shipbuilder Program Reviews, including Post-Award Conferences and logistics meetings.
- Foreign Customer Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and Financial Management Reviews (FMRs).
Preferred Specialization:
- DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); DoD/DoN contracting; Foreign Military Sales; development of DoN acquisition document (e.g. Acquisition Strategy, Acquisition Program Baseline); ship building experience
Qualifications & Clearance Requirements
Minimum Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management discipline.
- 3+ years program management, technical management, or Industry business management
- Secret Clearance verifiable in DISS
Preferred Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred.
- 5+ years program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management, with 1+ years in DoD/DoN program management
