Job Summary
The Golf ShopAssistant is responsible for displaying, demonstrating, and selling golfsupplies and related items. The Golf Shop Assistant will provide Club courseand event information to members and guests and provide exceptional service to member's requests.
Responsibilities:
Ø Advises membersand guests about attire, golf clubs and supplies.
Ø Informs membersof club information regarding events, course conditions, dining hours, andother Club functions.
Ø Books lessons forall Golf Teaching Professionals.
Ø Registersplayers, taking tee times and charging appropriate golf, guest, and cart fees.
Ø Sells Golf Shopitems and provides members and guests with expert knowledge on all productlines.
Ø Operates cashregister, records sales transactions, and assists in closing out register.
Ø Maintains GolfShop supplies and assists in packing and pricing merchandise.
Ø Arranges anddisplays Pro Shop inventory.
Ø Assists ininventory control and billing.
Ø Other duties asassigned including, but not limited to, assistance of Player Services Staff andStarters.
Qualifications:
Ø Experienceworking in a country club environment is preferred.
Ø General computerknowledge is preferred.
Ø Experience withgolf knowledge and retail experience is a plus.
