Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Junior Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our financial operations. Responsibilities- Post journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
- Update and reconcile financial statements.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable control totals.
- Verify monthly payroll posting to the General Ledger (GL).
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports.Conduct bank reconciliations and reconcile GL accounts (Balance Sheet and P&L Accounts).
- Handle intercompany activities with reconciliation.
- Assist in year-end audit preparation with third-party audit firm(s).
- Prepare and submit annual governmental tax returns.
- Manage and maintain schedules for fixed assets and leased assets.
- Provide financial analysis as needed.
- Offer clerical and administrative support to management upon request.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area.
- Strong grasp of basic and intermediate accounting principles.
- Ability to perform elementary mathematical operations.
- Commitment to meeting deadlines consistently.
- Comfortable handling and storing confidential financial information.
