Under direct supervision of the Contributions Manager with high level of latitude for independent actions and decisions, performs work of ordinary difficulty and responsibility related to Accounts Payable, Contribution Receivable, and Year-End Audit.
EXAMPLES OF TYPICAL TASKS:
1. Ensure collection of all Cultural Trust Accounts Receivable Billing
2. Research discrepancies between Accounts Receivable Billing and Cash Receipts
3. Prepare Analysis Schedules and Journal Entries for year-end-audit for Cultural Institution Trust
4. Assist with fiscal year end audit requests for Cultural Institution Trust, H&S, and BFT Welfare Fund/Education Fund.
5. Assist the Contributions area with billing, reconciliation, deposits, disbursements as well as record maintenance
6. Do DC37 Med-Team Head Count Reconciliations on a monthly basis
7. Upon notification of any Welfare Fund rate changes, ensure the Cultural Institutions immediately start implementing the newly negotiated rate.
8. Process Accounts Receivables transactions using Great Plain Accounting Software for various funds
9. Contact various Cultural Institutions for payment, adjustments or discrepancies
10. Communicate with the Eligibility Department for the designation of Highway Repairers.
11. Perform other special projects as requested by H&S Administration, the Controller and Contributions Manager
12. May be required to work alternate schedules
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting
2. Three years of experience in Accounts Receivable or five years accounting experience
SKILLS
1. Knowledge of Great Plains accounting system a plus
2. PC Literate with Microsoft Excel skills a must
3. Good mathematical, verbal and written communication skills
4. Ability to interact with co-workers and outside vendors in a professional and non-confrontational manner

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $63,864.00 - $74,464.00 per year
