This position is with a prominent Junior mass-market brand.
We specialize in designing dresses, tops, bottoms, and activewear in Knit, Woven, and Sweater categories for a highly trend-driven customer base.
We are currently seeking a Costing Coordinator for immediate hire with the following qualifications:
- Daily communication with overseas suppliers on costing
- Creating the costing chart & work close with Sr. Costing Manager.
- Negotiating prices for products to achieve the company’s margin requirements.
- Develop, monitor, and implement seasonal time/action calendars to achieve the required delivery.
- Check new fabric detail, fabric cost, and garment costing exercise for fabric prebooking/yarn pre-booking.
- Check yarn and fabric lead time for quick turn order.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, proactive, organized, detailed & Strong team player.
- Working with the sales and design teams on private label projects.
- Send initial POs to factories.
Job Requirements:
- 2 years of experience required.
- Proficiency in knit and woven fabrics, as well as expertise in sweaters, coupled with a strong grasp of the Junior market.
- Knowledge of garment construction and technical design, plus.
- An understanding of factory operations including knitting, dyeing, printing, sewing, and washing
- Familiarity with factory Social Compliance audits.
Salary**: 50K ~75K **the salary may vary based on individual experience and expertise.
