At least 5-yeasr related accountant experience is required.
We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits, reconciling bank statements and budgets.
Accountants can expect to work with large amounts of numerical data, handle multiple tasks with deadlines, and provide transparent and complete reports to management.
Top candidates will have excellent presentation skills with the ability to successfully communicate complex quantitative data to decision-makers.
Accountant Responsibilities:
- Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
- Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, etc.
- Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries.
- Publish financial statements in time.
- Handle monthly and annual closings.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintaining accurate financial records for all accounting transactions.
- Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
- Work closely with management and headquarter in Hong Kong.
- Support ad hoc projects as assigned.
Accountant Requirements:
- A degree, although not always mandatory, is very advantageous. Bachelor’s degree in accounting is particularly favored.
- Previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with general ledger functions.
- Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
- Ethical behavior.
- Attention to detail.
- Work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy.
