Our company is searching for an experienced, reliable, and task-oriented Junior Accountant.
About the Position:
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This role is 100% on-site.
Financial Administration:
· Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that they are accurate and up-to-date.
· Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.
· Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable on a regular basis.
· Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
· Prepare financial reports and assist with financial analysis as needed.
· Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting processes.
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
· Assist with audits and other financial inquiries.
· Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.
Team Collaboration:
· Foster a positive and collaborative office culture, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
· Assist in onboarding new employees, ensuring smooth integration into the company.
· Place team meal orders as requested.
· Organize meetings as requested.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· 0-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting regulations.
