Junior Accountant – Pasadena, California 91101
Solariant Capital, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting and administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial and regulatory filings. Responsibilities:
- Enter credit card and accounts payable transactions accurately.
- Verify and ensure all credit card and accounts payable transactions have proper backup documentation and approval.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly.
- Form project entities with the relevant state authorities and ensure compliance with annual filing requirements.
- Assist in fulfilling other state and agency filing obligations.
- Provide support during financial statement audits and tax preparations.
- Assist with assigned payroll tasks.
- Support other accounting duties as assigned.
- Help with miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed.
- Undertake additional projects as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of accounting work experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Office suite applications.
- Experience with QuickBooks and QuickBooks online is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Exhibits excellent problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to fast paced environments.
