Jr. Accountant

C V Resources has partnered with a hospitality/entertainment company in Jamul for a Jr. Accountant to join their team full-time. All work is performed onsite M- F. Pay is between $50k - $65k based on experience. Responsibilities: General Accounting: Assist the senior accountants in recording day-to-day financial transactions accurately and timely. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of accounting records by verifying and reconciling documentation and resolving discrepancies. Process journal entries and maintain the general ledger. Prepare monthly financial statements and reports. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process accounts payable invoices, reconcile vendor statement discrepancies and initiate payments. Collect and record tenant rental payments, apply them accurately, and maintain tenant accounts. Assist in managing accounts receivable, send monthly statements, and follow up on outstanding balances as needed. Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions. Investigate any discrepancies and resolve issues proactively. Prepare and submit regular cash flow reports to management.
