Job Summary:
We are seeking for a Junior Accountant to join our team. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for providing day-to-day accounting services, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements.
Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
Prepare financial statements and other reports as needed
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other reports
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget
Analyze financial data and prepare reports
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
Assist in the review and analysis of financial statements
Assist in the preparation of tax returns
Maintain records and filing systems
Adhere to all accounting principles, standards, and regulations
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
At least 1 year of experience in an accounting role or equivalent in internship.
Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
