Jr. Accountant

Position Overview:As a Junior Accountant, you will have the chance to work closely with experienced accounting professionals while gaining hands-on experience in various financial activities. You will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in recording and reconciling financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Help analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate coding and classification of expenses and revenues.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with relevant tax regulations.
• Maintain a strong understanding of accounting principles and industry best practices.
• Contribute to the implementation and improvement of financial processes and procedures.
• Respond to financial inquiries and provide assistance to team members and external partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
• Previous internship or relevant work experience in accounting or finance is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies and solve problems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Enthusiastic and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
