Journeyman Tool & Die Maker:
Summary:
Seeking Journey-level experience candidate who is certified having completed an
apprenticeship program and has a minimum of 6 years" experience as a Tool & Die Maker.
Candidate must be fully qualified and able to perform skilled trade without supervision.
Qualifications
* Must have the proven ability to troubleshoot complex progressive dies and be an
authority in making tooling components efficiently
* Candidates must also be capable of assembling the most complex progressive dies
and have leadership skills to lead a group through new complex tool builds
* Certified Journeyman Tool & Die and at least 6 years of experience as a Tool & Die
Maker
* Experience running lathes, mills and grinders
* Able to read micrometer, gauges, comparator, and blueprints
* Proven mechanical ability
* Assume responsibility for quality workmanship and dimensional accuracy of assigned
work
* Good verbal & written communication skills
* Organized, able to prioritize, plan accomplishment of multiple tasks
* Self-motivated and ability to problem solve to project completion
* Team player with experience working successfully in a team environment
* Basic computer skills using Windows
* Quality and safety focused. able to lift moderate loads regularly (under 40 lbs.)
