Description:

Follow drawings, sketches, tool designs, sample parts, and other instructions to lay out and fabricate or rework semi-complex tools, gages, fixtures and details, using a variety of precision measuring instruments and machine equipment such as lathes, grinders, millers, etc.
Perform semi-complex machining and any hand operations required to work to tolerances which range from very close in one dimension to standard in three, including interrelated dimensions for holes, angles, radii, set block, locating points, etc.
Work with higher grade toolmakers on more complex work, research and development projects and for resolution of unusual problems encountered while carrying out assignments.
Perform related or similar duties as directed by higher-grade toolmakers or foreman.
Perform operator checklist as required.
Contribute to the overall effectiveness of equipment by performing operator required upkeep.
Follow all rules and regulations pertaining to environmental health and safety.
Segregate waste material on follow good housekeeping practices.

Basic Qualifications:

Require H.S. diploma and/or equivalent degree.
Require 0 - 1+ years' experience.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
