Adecco's Permanent Recruitment team is assisting a large manufacturing company in Middlesex county, Connecticut. We are looking for experienced Tool & Die Maker. This is a full time direct hire

Position Title: Tool & Die Maker
Pay Rate Range: $19- $28/hr. depending on experience
Schedule(s)/Hours 1st shift (7:00 am to 3:30 pm)
Location: Portland, CT

Responsibilities Include:

• Build and design tools and gages from specifications
  

• Maintains tools and gages in proper working order.
  
• Uses tool drawings, operation sheets, and part prints to build and design tools.
  
• Runs production equipment when required.
  
• Supports maintenance personnel when required
  
• Calibrates tools and gages.
  
• Able to setup and operate all tool room equipment
  

Experience:

• 3+ yrs. experience in tool making.
  
• Strong understanding of GD&T.
  
• Able to communicate, converse with, express self, exchange information, discern, and convey messages.
  
• High School or Equivalent
