Journeyman Electrician

Are you a safety-first problem-solver who’s ready to repair, replace, install, and maintain electrical systems in homes, businesses, and factories? Our next hire has the technical skills to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various electrical problems, understands the importance of and ensures all work adheres to national and local safety codes and has completed all training, apprenticeship, and licensing requirements. $40 - $60 hourly

• Identify and fix electrical problems, including component replacement and installation
• Conduct residential and commercial maintenance and installation of electrical equipment
• Read and apply electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
• Test wiring and other electrical components to make sure it’s properly connected
• Verify that the wiring is in compliance with all building rules and requirements for safety

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform service upgrades
• Read and interpret electrical plans
• Install various electrical components in residential settings

• Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs
• We require candidates have a high school diploma or GED
• Ability to work in confined spaces, at great heights, and in all types of weather
• Completed electrician apprenticeship
• Electrician associate’s degree from technical school is required

Requirements:

• 5+ years of residential electrical experience
• Proven ability to manage full electrical installations for entire homes
• Physically fit and able to handle the demands of a residential electrical project
• Must be able to work in the San Francisco Bay Area, primarily Pacifica, CA
