Who We Are:
HII - Mission Technologies is currently seeking a temporary (~90 days) Joint Training Facilitator Specialist to work onsite at USSOUTHCOM, Doral, FL. *This is a temporary assignment.
HII - Mission Technologies provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.
What You Will Do:

• Support the USSOUTHCOM J7/9 Training and Exercises Division.
• Work as a member of a Joint Training Team and analyze/support the policy, plans, procedure, actions, and milestones necessary for efficient conduct of Joint Training.
• Coordinate resources in support of workshops and training.
• Serve or assist personnel within the CCMD for issues/requirements regarding the Joint Training.
• Serve as action officer for rewriting and updating USSOUTHCOM Instructions, writing information/decision papers, and briefing/conducting in-progress reviews as required.

What We're Looking For:

• Applicant must possess operational experience, working knowledge of joint operation staff functions, and be familiar with Joint training and exercise planning, Service capabilities, and joint operations.
• All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation per HII requirements.
• 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
• Active Secret DoD Clearance

Preferred Requirements

• At least 5 years at the active duty O4, or above, level preferred.
• Experience with USSOUTHCOM Joint Exercises is a plus.
• Familiarity with the Joint Training System, Universal Joint Task List, Joint Missions Essential Task Development, Defense Readiness Reporting System, Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC), and the Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS).
• Understanding of/experience in a joint service environment is desired.
