Under the direct supervision of the Truss Production Manager, engineered drawings are read and then used to build wood floor and roof trusses. This job functions in a fast-paced manner and requires accuracy and teamwork.
- Operate heavy machinery to load bunks of lumber onto carts; then pushed into production shop
- Unload the cart in an organized fashion onto floor
- Pick up lumber from floor and place onto table according to engineered design.
- Staple wood components together
- Place the appropriate size of metal plates on the truss joints
- Operate truss press

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
