As the Janitorial Supervisor you will be responsible for the supervision of a large cleaning operation focusing on performance in terms cleanliness and staff behavior while on duty. Ensuring first-class service is always delivered, with a strong focus on client satisfaction. Must have a flexible schedule, positive can-do attitude, and an understanding that it is your primary responsibility to get the job done effectively and in a timely manner while mentoring entry level employees for success.
Responsibilities:
- Train cleaners and team leads, coach to One Source standards
- Assist in daily cleaning operation
- Inventory control and ordering
- Inspect work daily of cleaning staff
- Budget Management - with a strong focus on labor budget
- Time Management - working quickly and effectively
- Serve as a liaison between clients, staff, and corporate team
- Consistently praising and developing employee skillset
- Enforcing disciplinary actions as necessary
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of large scale cleaning operations
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proven background in motivating teams
- Comfortable working in a process based environment
- Knowledge of safety hazards and use of chemicals or willingness to learn
- Detailed orientated
- Basic understanding of small equipment repairs
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending
- Must be able to lift, kneel, stoop, climb, reach, pull up to 50lbs
- Use of equipment such as blowers, vacuums, golf carts
- Will have contact with chemicals and PPE
