Job Description
Role: IT Systems Engineer
Location: Palo Alto, CA - Onsite Required
Duration: Long-Term Rolling Contract
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage service desk support queue in Jira and serve as escalation point for T1 support
- Serve as an on-site direct support contact for users
- Migrate systems from Windows 10 to Windows 11
- Convert local systems to azure AD joined systems
- Help System Manager with infrastructure related projects
- Manage assigned projects end-to-end including tracking in Azure Dev Ops
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT support
- Experience working in Azure/Azure AD environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain things technically and non-technically
- Experience setting up VPNs
- Ability to configure SAML based SSO in Azure
- Experience working with users that have strict timelines & scarce availability
- Experience upgrading systems from Windows 10 to Windows 11
- Experience setting up VPCs and EC2s in AWS and creating auditing
- 2+ years of experience working in a ticket management system such as Jira
- Experience working on Cloud infrastructure related projects
- Experience working in lab-based IT environments
- Strong familiarity with Agile methodology
- Desire to expand skillset and work in a rapidly evolving environment
PREFERRED SKILLS
- 10+ years of experience in IT
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment

The salary range provided for this contract role represents our good faith estimate for this position. Within the range, individual offers will vary based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, location and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process (W2 or C2C).
