Job Description
Summary: Oversee the efficient operation of Surface Optics Corporation?s information systems infrastructure while ensuring robust cybersecurity measures. This roll is responsible for managing the organization?s technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, software applications, intranet Systems and end-user devices. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining a comprehensive cybersecurity system to meet government contract compliance requirements and protect sensitive information.
Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Manage information systems infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and end-user devices.
2. Monitor and maintain network performance, security, and availability.
3. Evaluate, implement, and maintain software applications to meet operational requirements, including timely updates and renewals.
4. Perform system back-ups.
5. Accountable for company IT assets and performing annual audits.
6. Execute IT onboarding process for new hires and offboarding process for terminations.
7. Develop and maintain a robust cybersecurity system for government contract compliance.
8. Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.
9. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and risk analysis.
10. Provide technical support and troubleshoot system and end-user issues.
11. Collaborate with vendors for procurement and support.
12. Establish policies for system usage, security, and data privacy.
13. Lead incident response efforts and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders for cybersecurity compliance.
14. Provide cybersecurity education and training to employees.
15. Train employees on system usage and maintain documentation.
16. Mandatory attendance at SOC all-hands meetings.
