A private family and multi-business-portfolio owner in Las Vegas, NV seeking an organized IT Specialist.

Duties:
- Fully support, configure, and maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, printers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
- Assists in projects, solutions, and key responsibilities
- Support in set up and configure server hardware
- Assists in troubleshooting technical inadequacies by obtaining required information over phone, email or on-site
- Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
- Follow up and assist in needed updates
- Ensure network security and Wi-Fi connectivity
- Assists in set up for user accounts, permissions and passwords
- Research and make recommendations on server system administration
- Perform other job-related duties as requested
Skills/Requirements:
- Extremely diligent detail-oriented multi-tasker, with excellent prioritization, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Flexible work hours and available by phone, text, or email when needed
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including telephone etiquette
- Professional mindset with the utmost discretion
- Valid driver’s license is required
- United States work authorization
- Adaptable team player
- Knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
- Proven experience of working in the IT field
- Hands-on experience with common software and hardware
- Understanding of basic computer/network concepts and terms
- Experience with firewalls, Internet VPNs remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
- Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
- Printer Brands and Office Outlook administration
- 1-2 years of network systems infrastructure experience preferred
