We are looking for an IT Support Technician who is responsible, dependable, and committed to high quality work. You must be a goal-driven team player with solid organizational skills and a keen attention to detail. This position will report directly to the Manager of IT.
This position will provide technology infrastructure and application support to all employees and act as the initial point of contact and first line technical support in addressing/resolving questions concerning Information Technology issues in a manufacturing environment. As an IT Support Technician you will be required to respond to all support/repair calls while also providing a high degree of user satisfaction. You will be required to generate daily status logs.
Your specific duties in this role will include:
- Proactively provide services that meet or exceed our expectations and service levels.
- Support corporate applications, internal local and remote corporate servers, user desktops, remote and traveling users, e-mail, and system access.
- Support and troubleshoot VoIP phone system issues.
- Troubleshoot and remediate application software issues.
- Assists IT Manager (IT Team members) with resolution of company system issues.
- Maintain and provide repairs as needed to all network attached equipment, printers, and software in offices and on the shop floor.
- Assist end users with resolution of hardware and software problems.
- Respond to production system problems promptly and in a professional manner.
- Maintain inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.
- Assists with the installation and support of new software, hardware and other IT projects.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Some travel required.
Requirements
- You must have at least one to three years’ experience with computers, printers, servers, LAN, WAN, routers, switches, VoIP phone systems.
- Experience supporting a corporate network and systems.
- Manufacturing experience a plus
- Must have knowledge: Microsoft suite of products, Office, Exchange, Active Directory, and networking infrastructure.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral formats.
- Demonstrates flexibility in day-to-day work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
