We are looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our client's IT Support Team. The IT Support Technician will serve as the main point of contact for all IT-related incidents and service requests.
Responsibilities include providing first-line customer phone support, logging incidents and service requests, resolving support requests to ensure service levels and targets are achieved, and meeting customer satisfaction and continuous service delivery demands. Technical support issues you will resolve vary in complexity and are related to computer hardware, software, associated peripheral equipment, and user password-related items.
In addition to providing phone support, you will perform installation, maintenance, and problem resolution of desktop platforms, software, and operating systems as well as assist with the development/maintenance of the support knowledgebase, training, and documentation.

Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of Service Desk and IT/Desktop Support experience (will consider IT education in place of or in combination with experience)
- Working knowledge of PC imaging and deployment
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, OS, and software issues
- Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve problems efficiently and accurately
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to various stakeholders, including those from a non-technical background
- Knowledge required to participate in larger technical projects such as the customization and integration of new or modified help desk telephonic systems, incident/problem/change management systems, and other related business software
- Flexibility to help the service desk during peak hours is desired
