Critical Tasks
- Helpdesk
- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to helpdesk requests
- Respond to customer queries by phone and email
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming issues related to systems, software and hardware
- Ask educated questions and listen to customers to determine root cause issues
- Work through the problem-solving process with customers, empowering them to do the same in the future
- Run diagnostics to resolve issues
- Report significant and recurring issues to the Senior Information Technology Support Technician
- Technical Support
- Create new user accounts/deletion of terminated accounts
- Provide on-call and after hours technical support on a rotating on-call schedule
- Clean up computers
- Maintain daily performance of computer systems
- Collect feedback to determine patterns and issues such that they can be resolved for FAQs can be provided to customers to ease in troubleshooting
- Document internal procedures
- Document known troubleshooting steps for common problems
Requirements
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer/technical issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Keen attention to detail, memory of patterns, and interest in problem-solving
- Willingness to continue learning
- Education or Training in Information Technology or IT-related Certification
- Training or experience in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience as a Help Desk Technician or other customer service role
As a Tribal Organization the Utah Navajo Health System, Inc. (UNHS) treats patients with high risk and underlying chronic medical conditions. Therefore, UNHS requires its employees to show proof of immunization prior to their employment with UNHS or during their employment. Below is a list of immunizations/vaccinations required to be employed or to continue employment with UNHS.
The immunizations/vaccinations include but not limited to following:
- MMR (Measles Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella): Documentation of two MMR vaccines (OR) Documentation of MMR titers.
- Complete Hepatitis B vaccine series (3 doses), documented proof of titers indicating immunity, or a declination that may be signed uponarrival.
- Proof of up-to-date PPD skin testing, if previously negative (OR) Proof of positive PPD skin test with the most recent chest x-ray and treatment history.
- Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Tdap).
- Varicella titers, history of varicella or varicella immunization series.
- Influenza vaccine for the current year.
- COVID-19 vaccine
- Any other vaccinations as requested.
