Field IT Technician is a position of support. The scope of what this position supports ranges from Office workstations to Site POS systems. This is a 75% plus travel position. A Field IT Technician can get calls from the sites for support on, but not limited to, POS/Register, Back Office PC, Site Firewalls, Site Tablets, Site Handhelds, Camera systems (NVR/DVR), cameras and all site software. Field IT Technician will use software to run through checklists for preventative maintenance.

· Help Desk/Support – An IT Technician’s number one priority is to support the different parts of our company. This includes sites in our network, offices in both Kensington CT and Mount Vernon NY, and support of network infrastructure. Microsoft certifications if preferred but not required.

· Installations– IT Technicians will perform installation of hardware/equipment as needed. This will include running low voltage wire (Network Cabling), installing Server Racks, installing cameras and NVR/DVR and other aspects of our Technology infrastructure. Running CAT5E cable, tipping wire, and testing is a large part of installations.

· Hardware/Equipment Replacement/Upgrades– There will be upgrades to software and hardware where an IT Technician is expected to visit sites and replace equipment and/or upgrade software.

· VoIP – An IT Technicians supports our VoIP system. This includes generating phone numbers, installing ATA devices, and supporting end phone device.

· POS Support – An IT Technician is expected to troubleshoot POS issues as level 1 and level 2 support. This includes configurations, password updates, user privileges, and report configurations. Should take Verifone Commander Classes.

· Cameras/NVR/DVR – An IT Technician will be responsible for camera outages, malfunctions and replacements. Support for NVR/DVR remote access, storage/retention capacity and software support is also a part of an IT Technicians responsibility. Should be March Networks Certified.

· License – An IT Technician should have a clean driver’s license

An IT Technician should be able to lift 30lbs or more, be able to use tools such as drills, screw guns, and wire rods. It is also expected for an IT Technician to be OSHA certified for use of scissors lift, bucket truck and lift boom.
