We are looking for Desktop Support Technicians who is responsible, dependable, and committed to building a long-term career with us. A Candidate must be a goal-driven team player with solid organizational skills and a keen attention to detail. Willing to work really hard and go at full speed to handle the demanding working load. Specific qualifications for the role include:
5 year IT degree + 2 years of experience
Good verbal and written communication skills
Desire to take advantage of training and learning opportunities
Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment Independent, self-starting attitude
MS Certifications a plus
Hands on experience with PC operations and windows servers a must. Good knowledge of Server Networking, DHCP, DNS, WiFI Mesh Networks, Active Directory, 365 Exchange server, group policy manager, and Azure.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be part of a team of IT professionals who provide in-house technical PC hardware and software support for over 800 associates. You will respond to user calls/trouble reports and personally visit associates to troubleshoot the nature of the problem and take the necessary course of action to resolve it. On Going PC, Server, Network, and CDK DMS maintenance, Maintain users, access, and group policy on active directory server and on prem-Servers.
Specific duties in this role will also include:
Responding to associate service calls to troubleshoot the nature of reported problems and taking necessary steps to resolve those problems and configuring PCs and laptops as well as loading software, and conducting audits and maintain systems in optimum operational state. Building and administering windows servers. Running and terminating infrastructure cabling between workstations and communication closets Tracking work activities. Maintain documentation
