We are a leading staffing firm based in NYC (with offices nationwide) and have an URGENT need for an IT Support Specialistto join our team as soon as possible. Our ideal candidate will have advanced technical knowledge and a keen interest in adapting and implementing industry best practices and processes. We expect the salary to be $65K+ based on experience.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide help desk support to our employees
- Assist with our ATS (applicant tracking system)
- Work alongside our website developers on projects
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness for the IT department
- Manage and coordinate all IT-related matters including data, wireless communications, mobile technology, telephone, security, and computer hardware and software
- Troubleshoot and solve problems related to hardware, software, and network problems
- Research and recommend acquisition of network hardware and software
- Monitor network utilization and performance, implement procedures for network optimization, reliability, and availability
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
- Build long term relationships with outside vendors for IT-related products and services
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an IT specialist/manager for (6) years+
- Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science
- Must be experienced with Google/G-suite systems
- Must be experienced with Microsoft Systems Administration
- System Engineer certification a plus
- Problem solver, analytical and critical thinker
- Excellent verbal and writing skills

- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
