- Act as the single point of contact for local users to process incidents and service requests in a courteous, professional, and timely fashion
- Qualify and categorize tickets, and solve independently (provide 1st level support) or involve specialists from other IT Teams (handover to 2nd level support)
- Deploy and maintain the PCs & peripherals, servers, databases, and network components; responsible for upgrades, cyclical hardware exchanges to include installing, configuring and troubleshooting operating systems and software 9through SCCM) to agreed standards
- Local windows and M365 administration; provision and deprovision windows accounts, manage access rights
- Administrate IT infrastructure in office (primary) and production (secondary) environment
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve cyber-security issues to include applying system patches, performing vulnerability analysis, and remediation management
- Will have daily contact to respond to users support calls and service requests in line with company standards and service level agreements
- Review ongoing issues weekly with IT Security
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or Network Engineering
- Minimum 2 years practical experience in similar role
- Fluency in English required. Fluency in Spanish and/or German would be an advantage
- Very good understanding of client hardware and the Windows operating system
- Good knowledge of M365
- Working knowledge of network, cloud, and infrastructure technologies preferred
- Ability to work with team members who are remote and in different time zones
