Overview: Patriot is looking for an IT Specialist to join our growing team! An IT Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and secure functioning of an organization's information technology systems. They are responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network infrastructure, and implementing IT solutions to enhance overall operational efficiency.
This is a full-time remote opportunity.
Responsibilities:
As an IT Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment supporting stakeholders across the United States. This may include but is not limited to:
- Managing incoming tickets and requests for prompt resolution and prioritization
- Answering stakeholder questions and assisting with training end-users where appropriate
- Act as the intermediary between back-office support teams and stakeholders to ensure their technological needs are met
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Working with third party vendors and support teams on behalf of our stakeholders
- Documentation updates supporting knowledge base and ticket integrity
- Proactively engage team members or cross-functional teams for ongoing partnership, collaboration, and training
- Daily fulfillment of servicing requests
- Providing first contact resolution and building lasting relationships through exceptional service
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have experience with troubleshooting, technical analysis, customer service, and effective communication / documentation skills. Additional qualifications include:
- 2+ years of professional technical troubleshooting / desktop support experience or equivalent
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster positive cross-functional relationships
- Focus on quality customer care with a customer service mindset
- Ability to de-escalate calls and think critically in addressing each customer’s unique needs
- General understanding of Microsoft products, application / hardware support, and ticketing platforms
- Experience with various IT services such as or like FreshService, Applied EPIC, Proofpoint, and ConnectWise are a plus
- Ability to learn new systems and applications quickly, adapting to changing requirements or support documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively in English using proper grammar
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- ITIL or equivalent methodology experience is a plus
- Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year dependent upon experience
