The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) whose mission is to enhance the fiscal and financial stability, accountability and integrity of the Government of the District of Columbia is in search of an IT Specialist Quality Assurance. This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Office of Lottery and Gaming (OLG). The incumbent participates in the full User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process cycle. and is responsible for compliance and Quality Assurance standards for information technology gaming systems, products, and services.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Participating in the Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) review process
- Planning and creating UAT test cases, test scripts and test data and executing such test cases according to the testing schedule
- Participating in the defect management process and assisting with resolving the defects
- Creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for QA operations
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: Three (3) years of progressive experience performing duties and responsibilities such as assisting with User Acceptance Testing (UAT); writing test scripts/scenarios and implementing technical solutions; documenting and communicating system defects; and assisting with creating Standard Operating Procedures.
