We are currently seeking an IT Specialist to support staff in technical problems in the operation of software, hardware, operating systems, and email. Job responsibilities include:
- Assist Director of IT in performing system monitoring
- Add, remove, or update user account information
- Analyze and identify potential issues with client computers
- Perform or oversee the installation and configuration of new hardware and software for client computers
- Provide Help Desk support by interacting with internal clients on all levels to resolve IT issues

Qualifications
- Certificate from college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience. A+ certification desirable.
- Three years of experience in a support capacity in a user-oriented environment.
- Strong understanding of a wide variety of personal computing equipment and software.
- Familiarity with fundamental principles of computer maintenance and systems.
- Skilled in teaching, motivating, and supporting users of varying proficiency.
- Ability to analyze user issues, problems, and systems applications.
- Ability to communicate professionally, respectfully, and tactfully.
- Maturity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
