Job Description
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT Service Continuity Management, Business Continuity, or related fields.
- Proven track record of leading ITSCM initiatives, developing continuity plans, and implementing resilience measures within complex IT environments.
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies, business impact analysis, and developing recovery strategies for IT services and business processes.
- Hands-on experience with continuity planning tools, disaster recovery solutions, and IT infrastructure resilience technologies.
- Previous experience working in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare) with knowledge of compliance requirements related to ITSCM (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34).
Technical Skills:
- In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in ITSM frameworks and practices, such as ITIL, COBIT, or ISO/IEC 20000.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions, data replication techniques, and high availability architectures.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices, particularly as they relate to ITSCM and protecting against cyber threats.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
- Relevant certifications in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Continuity Management, such as:
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certifications, particularly ITIL Service Continuity Management
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)
- Certified Disaster Recovery Planner (CDRP)

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT) and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or experience managing ITSCM projects.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in IT resilience and Continuity Management.
