Position Responsibilities: We are looking to hire an IT Service Desk Lead for our Managed Service Provider (MSP) service. We are seeking a detail-oriented and focused individual who takes initiative as well as extreme pride in their work. The right candidate for this role will be a motivated team player who enjoys finding solutions to challenges through research and collaboration. Patience and strong communication skills are required as this role interfaces directly with client end users. The candidate must be able to execute goals and requirements quickly & efficiently. You will be responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of hardware systems and related infrastructure.

This position is not an entry-level position, and the ability to manage tasks, and be a lead on projects is crucial to this role’s success. This is an in-person, onsite position, with required travel to local clients on an as-needed basis.

  • Lead Service Desk Team
  • End-user support
  • Create and maintain Windows server, desktop, and M365 environments
  • Manage network access points, switches, firewalls, and routers
  • Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
  • Deploy and manage various network devices such as MFPs, IoT, and Audio/Video
  • Management of VoIP solutions
  • Administration and deployment of virtual, and cloud environments (primarily Azure & AWS)
  • Management and monitoring of cybersecurity policies
  • Create and maintain technical documentation

 

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, MIS, CIS, or related technology certifications
  • Production operations experience in systems implementations, maintenance, and recovery
  • Experience as a Microsoft systems administrator
  • Experience with current Microsoft Windows Server and Windows Desktop Operating Systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure (AD, MDM, and Security)
  • A strong understanding of networking and TCP/IP protocols
  • Experience managing network equipment, firewalls, routers, and switches
  • Experience working at an MSP, or Multi-tenant environment is a plus
  • Amazon AWS is a plus
  • Experience with Linux is a plus
  • Experience with Kaseya Autotask & Datto RMM is a plus
  • Knowledge related to computer hardware (servers, networks, SAN RAID devices, I/O subsystems, clusters virtualization, and high availability)
