What you will be doing:
- Ensure successful daily end user operations by responding to incidents, troubleshooting hardware issues, performing diagnostic testing, and resolving hardware inquiries
- Accurately document support issues, activities and/or resolutions and communicate user feedback to managers and IT team members
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT procedures by identifying opportunities for improvement, sharing best practices, and updating documentation as necessary
- Assisting IT Support team with research and special projects
- Organize and maintain IT resources
- Must be able to lift a least 20 lbs.
- Create a positive, satisfying customer support experience.
What we need from you:
- Currently enrolled in or graduated from a 4-year college or university business program, preferably with a concentration in Computer Science.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must have analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams and PowerPoint) is required.
- A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality
Work From Home and Hybrid Requirements: This particular position is Hybrid and requires in-office / plus work from home days to our offices in Westbury, New York:
- Internet speed of 100 mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net)
- Able to dedicate a quiet space for daily work that is free of sound interruptions.
- All equipment will be provided by Jovia (Computer, Monitor, Headset)
