Form of work We have an opportunity for a new contracted ITQA Lead. It will be at least a year, with most likely an opportunity to extend beyond. It's a great chance to work on one of our agile projects here at Roswell Park to support the cancer research we do here. We are looking for an experienced agile ITQA leader, someone who can jump in and lead the Quality Assurance and best practices on our agile project. They must have excellent communication skills and a solid understanding or agile and Quality Assurance, see below for more details.

The Agile ITQA Lead will work with product owners and the development team to ensure quality is an integral part of all software development activities from defining user stories and acceptance criteria, developing and executing automated and manual test plans, highlighting risk and release signoff.

The Agile ITQA Lead will work with product owners and the development team to ensure quality is an integral part of all software development activities from defining user stories and acceptance criteria, developing and executing automated and manual test plans, highlighting risk and release signoff.
Primary Job Duties:
- Create, Implement, and update the Agile Test Strategy for the assigned project
- Measure and Report Test Coverage
- Write and execute manual tests and identify tests for automated regression library
- Report defects and work with team to resolve
- Coach other team members in relevant aspects of Quality Assurance & Testing
- Review automated regression library to ensure intend outcome is achieved
- Ensure acceptance criteria is defined for user stories
- Ensure acceptance criteria for each user story is met
- Ensure appropriate testing tasks are scheduled for each sprint
- Actively collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, especially in terms of testability, consistency, and completeness
- Participating proactively in daily standup meetings, story grooming sessions, team retrospectives, suggesting and implementing improvements
- Experience in a Clinical Research setting is strongly encouraged.
- 8+ years' experience leading Software Quality Assurance and Testing in an agile or waterfall setting.
- 8+ years' experience working an agile setting.
- 8+ years of hands on experience in testing, writing test plans, test cases, executing test cases, identifying defects.
- Experience Identifying Risk and recommending risk mitigation strategies.
