IT Rotational Program Associate

Major Responsibilities:

• Rotate through four segments within the IT organization, including, Infrastructure and Operations, Enterprise Applications, Cybersecurity, and Portfolio Mgmt./Leadership.
• Learn the core skills required to contribute Essendant’s IT processes in a meaningful way
• Gain exposure to critical business process, such as operations, customer care, and overall Supply Chain.
• Partner with various functions within Essendant to learn and provide solutions to typical problems/issues.
• Work closely with an IT coach/mentor to grow as an IT professional across multiple disciplines
• Understands and demonstrates Essendant’s Core Values and Guiding Principles
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in related field (Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering/Mathematics)
• Confirmed interest in information technology careers, specifically how information technology enables business value
• Strong analytical, active listening and decision-making skills
• Demonstrates attention to detail /excellent time management skills
• Interest in a data-intensive, high transaction volume environment
• Willingness to manage multiple priorities and multitask

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field
• Entry level position
• Exposure or experience with multiple IT disciplines and/or project management a plus
