Our property, located by one of the busiest airports in the country, offers 485 guest rooms, approximately 30,000 sq ft meeting space along with resort-like amenities such as an outdoor pool, pool bar, and several food and beverage outlets including a full service restaurant, coffee shop and a concierge lounge reserved for our valued frequent travelers and VIP guests.
- Train and supervise all new employees and provide ongoing training to current staff
- Monitor room attendants, lobby and houseman performance.
- Provide organization, instruction, guidance, communication as well as exercise good judgment, while reinforcing high standards quality
- Ensure all jobs are completed within the shift; make sure all sections are covered
- Make tour of assigned areas, checking conditions of the floor, walls, vending areas, linen rooms, the status of supplies and your staff's needs. Report any deficiencies and assign personnel to correct the situation
- Assist in conducting linen inventories monthly, using basic math
- Provide assistance to Housekeeping Management team
- Immediately report any broken door locks or safety hazards to management for immediate attention
- Monitor Housekeeping staff meal breaks
- Monitor and supervise assigned room attendants
- Assist in opening and closing the house
Requirements:
- Able to communicate accurately and effectively in verbal and written format with guests, employees and departments
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Must posses leadership skills
- Extensive knowledge of cleanliness operations
- Must be flexible enough to work any shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Microsoft Office experience (word, excel, and power point)
