It Project Manager

SUMMARY

We are seeking a full-time Senior IT Project Manager for a remote position with a company whose headquarters are in Eagan, MN. In this position, you will manage the Project Management department in support of customers and their hosted cloud environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that each project includes clear and attainable objectives.
• Build and communicate project requirements to team members, and manage project constraints (cost, time, scope, and quality).
• Work with customers to identify the role of project team members, project reporting structures and frequency of interaction, and any training requirements.
• Maintain effective communication and working relationships with each customer and project team member.
• Coordinate internal IT projects by drafting scope of work, organizing and conducting project team meetings, developing IT system review schedules, audits and acceptance tests for each phase of a project.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mentor and provide expertise to other project team members on company and industry best practices.
• Prepare and present project presentations when needed.
• Serve as the point of contact with customers, as it pertains to their hosted cloud environment. Participate in customer meetings, management meetings, and other meetings as needed.
• Respond to inquiries and requests for other information from both customers and Wizmo teammates, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to communicate in a clear and precise manner, both verbally and in writing.
• General knowledge of current hardware and software technologies and cloud environments.
• Ability to lead, motivate and supervise working teams.
• Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and IT management software (ConnectWise software a bonus).
• PMP Certification preferred.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and five to seven years IT project management experience.
