We are seeking a mid-level Network Administrator to join our small IT team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in junior to mid-level network administration.

Job Description:
We are seeking a mid-level Network Administrator to join our small IT team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in junior to mid-level network administration.
Responsibilities:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware to include software components of firewalls, switches and routers and VPNs.
- Monitoring network performance and ensuring availability, reliability, and scalability of the infrastructure.
- Implementing and maintaining network policies and procedures to include access control, data integrity and disaster recovery.
- Manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems and antivirus software.
- Troubleshoot network problems and ability to resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular audits of network systems to ensure compliance w/ security standards.
- Provide technical support to end-users on network related issues.
- Document network configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps.
- Ability to manage multiple networks.
- Network Monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of network protocols and technologies.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Familiarity with network hardware (Routers, Switches, Firewalls)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possess exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Network experience to include VLANS.
- VMWare experience a plus.
- SIEM experience a plus.
- Gitlab Experience a plus.
- Scripting experience a plus, but not required.
- Self-Starter with ability to come up to speed rapidly.
- Ability to wear multiple hats is a major plus.
