THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
Perform a wide variety of services required for effective operation of the IT department. IT Manager will work closely with the Sr. Manager & Director of IT Services & Supplier Management to handle complex financial responsibilities of the department. Key recurring areas of service include:

• Financial Analysis, Reporting & Forecasting
• Overseeing Invoice Processing team
• Vendor monitoring and escalations.
• Contracts Administration
Month-end close (accruals, journal entries, invoice support...etc.)

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH ALL THESE GOALS BY:

• Maintain the department expense budget, including forecast revisions, by partnering with IT leadership.
• Complete month end accounting activities maintain internal analysis and respond to questions from Accounting and FP&A regarding results.
• Evaluate actual results vs. plan, generate internal reports and provide explanations for significant variances.
• Responsible for end-to-end management of centralized IT invoicing function to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing.
• Review and approve the work of team members that are responsible for processing IT invoices in accordance with ULTA's accounting policy.
• Review IT contracts (SOWs & Change Orders) for legal compliance and accounting policy alignment (e.g. capital vs. expense).
• Work with vendors to monitor aging items and resolve any issues including escalations / discrepancies.
• Work collaboratively with IT, Project Management, Procurement, and accounting teams.
• Help ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
• Prepare financial reports for management including financial presentations, KPI / metrics reporting.
• Maintain a high degree of quality customer service to internal and external customers.
• Periodically coordinate the collection of information for internal and external auditors.
Identify and resolve problems and inconsistencies, determining appropriate corrective procedures.

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS

• Undergraduate degree (Accounting/Finance)
• 5-7 years of accounting and relevant experience
• Knowledge of Fixed Assets

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of general accounting concepts, monthly close process, financial reporting, and GAAP concepts.
• Technical accounting knowledge (ASC 360, ASC 350-40 & ASC 350-50).
• Strong leadership abilities, including assertive personality, a great attitude, and ability to handle change.
• Organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
• Experience in creating new processes and implementing across cross-functional partners.
• Maintains high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills, to include troubleshooting
• advance in Excel and Word, SAP or Ariba knowledge is a plus.
Planview PPM experience is a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• This is hybrid role and requires working from the Bolingbrook office 6 days per month

: The pay range for this position is $113,600.00 - $153,400.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company's bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
